  • Technical and Usage Information: IP address, browser type, operating system, and interactions with our API or white-label portals.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us to:

  • Facilitate telemedicine consultations (synchronous and asynchronous) by connecting you with an state-licensed medical provider network.
  • Create and manage your unique “Visit ID” and route prescription requests to our partner fulfillment pharmacy.
  • Send automated SMS notifications regarding your prescription status (e.g., “Approved by Prescriber”) and schedule 30-day clinical follow-ups.
  • Fulfill our legal and regulatory obligations.

5. Disclosure and Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction. We may disclose personal information and PHI that we collect as described in this privacy policy:

  • To Network Medical Providers: So they can evaluate your case, review your medical history, and, if clinically appropriate, issue an electronic prescription (e-Prescribing).
  • To Partner Pharmacy: For the processing, fulfillment, and shipping of prescribed medications.
  • For Legal Reasons: To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Clinic Secret, our customers, or others.

We have implemented robust technological and operational measures designed to secure your personal information and PHI from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All medical information is encrypted and securely integrated into our system. However, the transmission of information via the internet or text messaging (SMS) carries inherent risks. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk.

Depending on your state jurisdiction, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information, including the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. Patients also have specific rights regarding their PHI under HIPAA, which are detailed in the treating medical provider’s Notice of Privacy Practices.
